The GOP-led House is reconvening for votes Monday as Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., says fellow chamber leader Mike Johnson's "days as speaker are numbered."
Last month, Greene filed a motion to remove Johnson after he committed to holding a vote for $61 billion of additional Ukraine war funding. The funding ultimately passed both chambers and President Biden signed it into law on April 24.
“Permanent funding for Ukraine is exactly what they want and Mike Johnson will give it to them,” Greene wrote Sunday on the social media platform X.
“Peace is not an option for them because it doesn’t fit the government appropriations war business and economic model, which is vile and disgusting," she also wrote.
